Sheriff XXXX and To Whom It May Concern:

In accordance with your request to organize a volunteer auxiliary under the XXXX County Sheriff's Office, and in conjunction with the draft Mission Statement and Organizing Document of this date, the following list of officer candidates is submitted for approval, to be organized as the "XXXX County Sheriff's Auxiliary" (XCSA or XCS Auxiliary). These officers are directed to formally constitute and organize the XCS Auxiliary, finalize the draft Mission Statement, Organizing Document, formal qualifications and training requirements, and other items as required to carry out its mission under the direction of your office.

It is hereby noted that the training requirements and qualifications for these officer candidates are temporarily waved until such a time as those requirements can be formally constituted and that the XCS Auxiliary shall furnish such additional paperwork, certifications, and affirmations as may be required in a timely fashion to both the Office of the Sheriff and to the Chief of Staff (or Adjutant) of the XCS Auxiliary.
