Updated 17 October:
We received the brushed-metal name plates this afternoon. They are currently in the care of the Quartermaster. We ended up getting a good deal on the nametags at roughly $6 ea. with the custom logo. We (the Voughts) paid for them out of pocket and would not mind getting the money back, at the very least to put into future orders.
Original Post:
We picked up six embroidered shoulder patches this evening, complements of Stephanie Cyr of Miller. These have the new logo design which looks better in a round patch. We should have another 6-8 by the end of the week. The brushed-metal name tags should arrive in the next few days, and the sample skill/affiliation pins have begun to come in (CERT, ARES, First Aid/First Responder, see Uniform Sources Page).
Please contact myself or the Quartermaster, Cathi Vought, for help with buying/ordering uniform shirts, applying insignia and patches and so forth. Decent shirts, pants, and duty boots for women are somewhat difficult to find; Cathi can help with finding or modifying unform components for women and we have several decent sewing machines for assembly and minor tailoring.
We are looking at a couple of possible sources for polos and ball caps. More on that, hopefully, soon.
