Auxiliary emails will be temporarily offline again late in the evening of Saturday, 24 September and potentially part of 25 September to finish email migration to the new server. There may be some additional temporary issues on the weekend as domain record changes propagate to nameservers across the Internet, resulting in delays in email delivery.

We have used the recent unexpected website outage to make some software upgrades and changes. Some of these changes are aimed at differentiating how we use this site versus how we are using social media like Facebook. Our intention is to use the main web site for permanent things, file downloads, policies, and in-depth articles, all tagged and searchable. Facebook will be used for events, short news items, and other temporary listings.

This morning's website update includes a new theme with accessibility improvements, including better adaptation to bigger and smaller screens. This should provide much better functionality on tablets and phones.

The LCSA public website will be down briefly starting 23:00 8 November 2014 for software upgrades. It will be back up by Sunday morning.

We have had several unplanned website outages in the past two weeks. In order to hopefully correct some of these issues, the hosting provider is going to migrate the site to a different server which may take several hours. The site will be taken down after midnight on 9 June and it will come back up in the early morning of 10 June. By scheduling it this way, the materials for the CLA-2 class on the 9th should be available through the class.

Over the next few days, the LCSA website will move to a new server in order to make maintenance easier. During this time, you may have difficulty connecting to the website as various nameservers throughout the Internet are updated. Service should resume as normal after this period. The Google Apps account and email used internally by the Auxiliary staff should not be affected.
